The Barossa Super 100 Classification Experience

Barossa Australia marked a significant milestone in Chengdu on 23 March, as the Second Edition of the Barossa Super 100 Classification Second Edition was introduced to some of Asia’s most respected trade, media and wine professionals. CEO Scott Hazeldine and Asia Ambassador Anson Mui hosted a day of discovery, connection, and celebration of Barossa’s ultra-premium wines.

The experience began with an intimate masterclass, where guests were guided through the craftsmanship and collectability behind the wines featured in this year’s Classification. Later, a walk-around tasting brought the energy up a notch, offering the chance to explore iconic Shiraz, standout Chardonnays and new-wave varieties, all in a laid-back, welcoming setting.

The momentum continues with a roadshow across Asia in May and June. Barossa Wine School educators will lead tastings, masterclasses and dinners in Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, Macau and Hong Kong—sharing Barossa’s stories and flavours with collectors and trade alike.
