You are invited to join Kalleske Wines for an interactive exploration of a variety of wines at their Greenock Cellar Door. The Matinée Cellar Series is a themed, casual yet informative deep dive into some of the aspects and curiosities of wine.
With more than 70% of red wine produced in Australia being Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, we can sometimes forget that there are other varieties which are emerging as sensible options both in the vineyard and on our dinner tables. With Tempranillo, Grenache, Zinfandel, Durif and more, we will explore some of the less common varieties grown in Australia with a look at varieties that have found a home on the Kalleske Farm and we hope will enjoy growth in recognition and popularity for the diversity they bring to our palates. Over an indulgent four-course lunch we will find out what these varieties have to offer and how they can fit into our ever more adventurous culinary landscape.
Tickets include a four course lunch paired with wines (150-180 mins). Strictly limited to 12 people
PLEASE NOTE: Some food allergies and dietary preferences may not be able to be accommodated. Please call to confirm menu prior to booking. Two dates to choose from
