The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1893, they planted their first vines which remain today as the Old Bastard vineyard.
At Kaesler, we believe in working with Mother Nature, not against her. Our goal is to leave the land better than we found it, ensuring future generations can continue to grow and enjoy exceptional wines from this region. This is a practice we like to call regenerative farming.
We invite you to visit our Barossa Valley winery and Cellar Door, home to wines such as The Old Bastard, Alte Reben Shiraz, The Bogan, and our other estate-grown varieties. Our Cellar Door, located on The Barossa Valley Way in Nuriootpa, is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm for tastings and sales. You can also join a vineyard tour or stay in our boutique bed and breakfast accommodation.
Relax on our lawns, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the peaceful surroundings. We also offer a local Barossa cheese platter, designed to pair perfectly with our wines.
Whether you’re here for a tasting, a tour, or just to unwind, Kaesler is a place to experience great wine and genuine Barossa hospitality.
