Go behind the scenes with our free walking winery tour in the Barossa Valley and see the winemaking process as it’s happening.
This 30 minute guided walk-through allows you to:
~ Learn how wine is made in the Barossa Valley.
~ Walk through the state-of-the-art winemaking facility and barrel hall and receive an explanation of where we are up to with vintage 2024.
~ Learn about fermentation and how a bunch of grapes is transformed into the famous Barossa Shiraz.
~ On the way view the vines which are the source of our beautiful single vineyard wines on the Kies Estate.
~ View the old barrels in our barrel hall (some up to 60 years old).
~ Learn about oak maturation in the winemaking process.
~ Take a photo inside the state-of-the-art Kies Family Wines winemaking facility or barrel hall as a momento of your visit.
Tours run daily at 11am, departing from the Award Winning Kies Family Wines cellar door. Tickets are free but limited so book early!
