Barossa Regional Gallery

The Barossa Regional Gallery is located in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley, and is only a short stroll from the main street of Tanunda.

Combining heritage and contemporary architecture, the gallery is part of the Tanunda Soldiers Memorial Hall complex. It offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors to enjoy including art exhibitions, workshops, performances and education programs. Visitors can visit our vibrant retail space with handmade artisan wares, from textiles, cards to jewellery and ceramics.

The site also houses the magnificently restored Hill and Son Grand Organ, which is a stunning example of musical heritage, finding its new home in Tanunda after being removed from the Adelaide Town Hall in the late 1990s.

With three magnificent gallery spaces, the Barossa Regional Gallery is able to present both community-based and professional exhibitions. The visual arts program combines both locally produced artworks, capturing the cultural integrity of the region, and exhibitions touring from across South Australia and interstate.

A perfect accompaniment to the amazing wines and delectable food the Barossa Region is known for, a trip to the Barossa Regional Gallery provides a unique cultural experience.
