Housed in the Old Telegraph Station at the south end of Tanunda’s main street, the Barossa Museum tells the story of the Barossa and offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives, culture and discoveries of the early Prussian arrivals to the Barossa Region.
The collection contains many rare items, stories and photographs that have been beautifully preserved and arranged including an important collection of Aboriginal Artefacts.
Schools and groups are welcome by appointment. They can also arrange private tours.
Also on offer are scavenger hunts and an audio tour of the museum.
