1837 Barossa Winery

Our winery is historic, and it is where Col William Light named the Barossa. We have a free Art Trail for visitors to view including a large “Barossa” sign, our Barossa Manor and Col Light Statue. We have a fine dining restaurant and a Cellar Door for casual dining with pizzas and entrees. At 1837 Barossa you can sample our wines with wine tasting that starts from $10 and our wine tours that include all our winery features. 1837 Barossa has some of the best views of the Barossa for you to enjoy and if you have the time you can stay in our luxury cottages that are surrounded by our vineyards.
