There are three Visitor Information Centres that service the Barossa region. Please call in to say hello, pick up a free Barossa Visitor Guide and Touring Map, and get some excellent inside advice from our friendly experts.

 

Barossa Visitor Centre

Make the Barossa Council's award-winning Visitor Centre your first stop when visiting our region. You can collect essential maps and guides plus gain knowledgeable insights from our local team. Our experienced staff can help book accommodation, tours, experiences, bike hire and more.

Free use of Wi-Fi, internet PCs, digital touchscreens, and mobile charging stations. The adjacent Barossa Cycle Hub offers public toilets, showers and drinking fountain.

Also co-located at the Centre is the Barossa Made Wares & Food Pantry. Visit today to shop all things Barossa, support local and take home a piece of the Barossa with you!

 

Kapunda Visitor Information Centre

Located in the heart of Australia’s oldest commercial copper mining town and home to Sir Sidney Kidman (The Cattle King). The centre features the ‘Taste of the Region’ interpretive display and the ‘Sir Sidney Kidman Exhibition’, inspiring visitors to learn, explore historical attractions, trails and some of the best wineries in the Barossa.

Friendly staff will help you discover the brilliance of the Light Region.

En route to the Barossa, stop at the Gawler Visitor Information Centre for advice on things to see and do. The Gawler Bike Hub offers bike hire, a bike repair station, bike lockers and free showers with an outdoor shaded decking area. The Centre provides many services including accommodation and tour bookings, passenger bus tickets and freight services within the state together with a great range of souvenirs and local craft and produce available for that lasting memory.
